Top Tesco wines to buy this winter:
Paco & Lola, Albariño, Rías Baixas 2019
With a Value Platinum award from this year’s DWWA under its belt, you can be sure this weighty, mineral white will be flying off the shelves. Fruit-forward aromas of ripe peach and pear continue on the smooth, juicy, palate which has zippy citrus acidity and a long stony finish.

Tesco Finest Viña del Cura Gran Reserva Rioja 2012
Made by Baron de Ley, this gran reserva spent 24 months in oak followed by 36 months in bottle. It has a lovely fruitcake character, with spicy cedar and ripe black fruits which makes it a perfect winter warmer. It may seem sticky-sweet in the mouth thanks to all that…
