Un cava rosado y tres tintos españoles figuran entre los vinos que no deberían faltar en el bar soñado. La relación, elaborada por la revista estadounidense Food & Wine, es también una propuesta para llevarse a casa el espíritu y las botellas que iluminan ese bar de vinos. El autor del artículo, Ray Isle, reconoce que redactó el texto porque sus bares favoritos estaban todos cerrados.
“Escribí una lista que mezclaba vinos naturales y convencionales, todos ellos representando a enólogos o vignerons con visiones muy personales. Quería vinos que hablaran de dónde son y quién los hizo. También quería que supieran muy bien”, dice. Los 20 elegidos los extrajo de las cartas de sus restaurantes favoritos regidos por sumilleres. Entre ellos hay vinos franceses, alemanes, estadounidenses y también estos cuatro españoles:
NV Juvé & Camps Brut Rosé Cava
Juvé & Camps, founded in 1796, is a go-to name for Cava, the sparkling wine of Spain. This rosé version is made from Pinot Noir, not one of the traditional grapes of the Penedès region but delicious nonetheless.

2018 Comando G La Bruja De Rozas
This joint project between young Spanish winemaking stars Daniel Landi and Fernando García has helped put the mountainous Gredos region, west of Madrid, on the map. They focus on graceful, aromatic old-vine Grenaches—this, their most affordable wine, is an excellent introduction.
2015 Mas Doix Salanques
“I grew up in Catalonia, where the Priorat region is located, so this one is close to my heart!” says Meana. “It’s a prime example of the wines of the Priorat region.” And so it is: dark and dense, with lots of raspberry and black cherry Grenache flavor.
